Ohio Class Nuclear Submarine Arrives in South Korea

Tensions in the Korean Peninsula grew as Pyongyang tested the Hwasong-18, an intercontinental ballistic missiles with sufficient range to reach the United States. The main reason for deploying the nuclear submarine is to cut down on the response time should North Korea launch a nuclear attack against South Korea. It is doubtful that the North Koreans have perfected a capable reentry vehicle at this time.

Kim Jo Yong, the hegemonic sister of Kim Jo Yong stated:

The US should know that its bolstered extended deterrence system and excessively extended military alliance system, a threatening entity, will only make the DPRK go further away from the negotiating table,”

North Korea’s official news agency said that the test of their ICBM:

The state’s official news agency said the new Hwasong-18 intercontinental ballistic missile served as “a strong practical warning” to the US and South Korea to stop bringing American nuclear assets to the region, flying spy planes overhead and holding joint military exercises that are pushing the peninsula to the brink of war.

This is just another hotspot where the slightest miscalculation by either side could result in a series of escalations that would lead to a regional nuclear holocaust resulting in a crop reduction across the globe by as much as 20% causing widespread panic and chaos.

Other developments that the US is not talking about involve the continued deployment of ballistic phase intercept Aegis class navy ships all across the region in a joint effort with Japan.
